Life-Enriching Activities at New Day Cottages
Engaging the Whole Person: Body, Mind & Spirit
At New Day Cottages, we believe that senior living should be vibrant, joyful, and fulfilling. That’s why we go beyond basic care to offer a wide range of activities designed to enrich our residents' lives—physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually. Whether scheduled on the calendar or shared spontaneously, these moments foster connection, purpose, and joy every single day.
Our activity program is thoughtfully designed around six essential dimensions of well-being:
- Physical: Movement and mobility
- Emotional: Connection, laughter, and support
- Purposeful: Hands-on tasks and meaningful contributions
- Social: Relationships and community bonding
- Intellectual: Lifelong learning and cognitive engagement
- Spiritual: Reflection, faith, and peace
- We encourage residents and families to participate in both scheduled and spontaneous activities, helping every day feel full of life and possibility.
